This is a very nice used Mauser model 42 Luger for sale chambered in 9MM. The barrel length is 4 inches long and is dated 1940. The bore is in excellent condition. The finish on the metal is in good shape, but there is no rust or pitting. This was an experimental finish noted by the asterisk. All serial numbers match on this pistol except for the magazine. There are 2 Waffenamt 655 and a Eagle proof on the right side of the frame. There is a eagle proof and asterisk on the right side of the barrel near the chamber end. The grips are in very good shape with no cracks or splits. There is magazine with a P08 marking and EXO. Functionally this pistol works great. Please ask for more pictures if needed.
