Mauser Luger Nazi coded S/42 1937, Cal. 9mm, Ser. 3738a. Beautiful, I'll bet that this beauty never went to war. It is the nicest early Nazi period P-08 I have ever owned. It has retained about 98-99% of the original factory finish. No rust, pin pricks or rub mark anywhere, just some very slight sharp edge silvering, light muzzle and side plate wear. The grip straps show no sign of graying. The right side of the slide has all the proper Waffenamts and National proof as does the barrel and the bolt. All numbers match. The checkered grips are flawless, OOOPS, the right panel does have one flattened point. The bore like the of the gun is pristine. Mirror bright with razor sharp rifling. No real frost anywhere.
