Mauser Model 1914, Fourth Variant, 7.65mm (.32) Semi-Automatic Pistol
Description: The Fourth Variant Mauser Model 1914, 7.65mm (.32) semi-automatic pistol was produced between 1923 and 1929, with approximately 178,000 manufactured. Given the serial number of this gun, it was probably produced in 1929. The overall condition of this gun is between 90 and 95 percent (closer to 95 percent). While it retains almost all of it original bluing, there are spots of bluing discoloration on both sides of the slide (visible in photos) presumably caused by some light rust. However, the spots are smooth to the touch, and there is no rust on the gun. The wrap-around wood grip is in excellent condition with deep, crisp checkering with almost no sign of wear to the checkering or finish. However, there is a 1/4 -inch by 1/8 chip out of the top of the grip at the backstrap, and there is what appears to be a set of initials cut into the bottom of the right side of the grip. All serial numbers of the gun are matching. The gun comes with one original magazine (total) and nothing more. There are not box, papers, or other accessories with this gun. The photos are high resolution, so zoom to see details. Please excuse the oil smears in the photos. Contact me for additional photos of any area you would like to see or see better. The buyer pays $25 for USPS Priority mail and $9.55 for USPS (U.S. Postal Service) insurance. Per the USPS site, insurance is calculated at $9.55 for the first $600. The fastest way to get this gun is to pay with a USPS money order, as they are like cash, and I don’t have to wait for them to clear. However, I will accept a personal check or another type money order, but I will hold the gun until it clears my bank; this includes bank checks and cashier’s checks. Check or money orders must be made out to Jerry Pownall. If you need to contact me, I am available any time, except Friday evenings and Saturdays. I will return calls and emails Saturday evening.
