THIS 1943 DATED PISTOL WITH HOLSTER AND HOLSTER BELT WAS CAPTURED AND USED IT BY THE US VETERAN Ed Jones DURING WW2. Ed Jones SERVED IN COMPANY "C" 293rd ENGINEERS AND COMBAT BATALION. AS YOU CAN SEE ON THE ATTACHED PICTURE OF COMPANY "C" ENGINEER & COMBAT BATALION CHRONOLOGY Ed Jones PARTICIPATION IN WW2 FROM 1943 UP TO 1945. IT IS AMAZING TO SEE THE CONDITION OF THIS PISTOL WITH 2 VERY INTERSTING MAGAZINES. ONE MAGAZINE WAS P38v AND E/WaA135 STAMPED AND THE SECOND MAGAZINE WAS P38v, E/135 AND 5079 NUMBER STAMPED. BOTH MAGAZINES ARE CORRECT FOR BYF MAUSER P38 PISTOLS PRODUCTION, BUT THE SECOND MAGAZINE WAS PRODUCED FOR THE FIRST MAUSER 1942 PRODUCTION WITH RARE MAGAZINE PISTOL SERIAL NUMBERED.
