S/42 ~ P.08 ~ 9x19

For your consideration, a Mauser (S/42 code) P.08 Luger chambered in 9x19. The barrel extension, sear block, and sideplate are numbered alike, but the frame, takedown lever, hold open catch, trigger, bolt, striker, extractor, and both toggle links are all unnumbered. Both barrel and thumb safety are not serialized, but are marked "S/42." The magazine is differently numbered. Grips are not numbered, but are internally marked with correct eagle over 655 Waffenamts. The included holster is marked "dtu.41," indicating manufacture by G.J. Ensink u. Co., an eagle over WaA165 Waffenamt, and "P.08." This piece dates to 1939. 9mm Luger
