Receiver is stamped with Chinese Ideogram that translates to ""Manufactured by Remington Factory of America, The Jui Sheng Import Co. of Shanghai, Agents"". Bore is very good with handsome rifling visible. Stock has expected nicks, dings and scratches visible. These rifle is in the correct serial range for the Chinese contract guns. These rifles would repel the French Army at the battle of Lang Son on March 26th 1885.
