Colt 1911A1 SN# 2358722 Fresh from a Wisconsin estate. This is an exceptional hard to find 1911A1. This pistol was shipped by Colts on July 27, 1945 to Springfield Armory. To give you an idea, on that same day the Little Boy bomb was being prepared on Tinian. In 18 days the Japanese would accept the unconditional surrender terms of the Podstam Conference. This is a rarely seen pistol, especially in original and factory condition.
