1939 mfg Pre-German Occupation CZ vz. 38 Semi-Automatic .380 ACP Pistol C&R PRE/EARLY WORLD WAR 2 Czechoslovakian 9x17mm Pistol
Description: 1939 mfg Pre-German Occupation CZ vz. 38 Semi-Automatic .380 ACP Pistol C&R PRE/EARLY WORLD WAR 2 Czechoslovakian 9x17mm Pistol Here we present a C&R CZ vz. 38 Pistol, made circa 1939 in Prague, Czechoslovakia. The vz. 38 is a semi-automatic pistol manufactured from 1939 to 1945 and chambered in .380 ACP, which in Europe is called 9×17mm Browning Short. Many Czech weapons during World War II saw wide usage by parties other than Czechs. This pistol with its double action only trigger system was lauded for its rugged design and the fact that it was very easy to maintain. There were a very limited number produced prior to the time of the German invasion in March of 1939. The barrel is attached to the frame by a hinge, allowing for very easy disassembly. The pistol was never used by the Czechoslovak military, as the vz. 38 orders were not yet delivered when Germany occupied Czechoslovakia in 1939. Several vz. 38s, modified to have a manual safety, were exported to German ally Bulgaria before the German occupation. Most of the pistols saw service in Greater German police and security forces, and despite several issues, the vz. 38 was still in production until 1945. Some were known to have been captured and used by Yugoslav partisans. The overall condition is fine. Original finish. The action is excellent. The bore is bright with sharp rifling. Grip is solid, showing use. Numbers match. Own the original! This firearm is classified as a Curio & Relic. Barrel is 4-3/4 inches. Caliber: .380 ACP (9x17mm Browning) Overall condition as seen in photos. Very Fast. Very Safe. FREE SHIPPING. Will need to be sent to your local FFL or C&R licensee. This firearm is classified as a Curio & Relic. Guaranteed AUTHENTIC & Includes CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY. ancestryguns $2000 #240780 SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes |
