Synopsis: Orginal, German Mauser C96 Broomhandle, Pre-War, Wartime Commercial Stock, Military Carrier, X-269 Description: Mauser C96 shoulder stock as would normally accompany a Pre-War or Standard Wartime Commercial pistol, looped hinge and iron # 671. Complete with an original military carrier as would have been issued with a Red 9 or Standard Wartime Commercial pistol, the back surface manufacturer marked and dated “1917”. Included is an original cleaning rod. No follower spring in pouch. Condition: VG. The stock having most of its original finish with the scattering of handling marks and bruises. The iron darkened but no suggestion of repolishing or reworking. Carrier is oil darkened, nicely marked with intact stitching, leather split at bottom where tensioned by the lug plunger. Comparable condition cleaning rod.
