DWM NAVY
Luger,
P-08, Dated 1916, Cal. 9mm, Ser. 3234. This is a super find for the most critical collector.
Description: Inv. 6978 DWM NAVY Luger, P-08, Dated 1916, Cal. 9mm, Ser. 3234. This is a super find for the most critical collector. The original finish remaining is most assuredly not less than 98-99%. The only loss there is, is from sharp edge silvering, slight muzzle wear and the usual side plate wear. There are no rust spots, pin pricks, scratches or rub marks anywhere. The of the barrel group is stamped Crown, Crown/M, Crown/M. The slide rail, top of the chamber and front sight base are all correctly stamped 1916. The left side of the bolt a Crown and the underside of the barrel a Crown. The rear sight is the correct sliding 100-200 meter naval type. The rear back strap is naval unit marked "S.B II" over a 5. The walnut checkered are perfect, not chipped, cracked or dinged in anyway. They are ink numbered to the gun and appear to be of the same age. .The matching magazine is the correct 3 ring navy type.It has the correct front to rear numbering followed by a Crown/M. The barrel is pristine like the rest of the gun. The bore is mirror bright with razor sharp rifling. Not a touch of frost any where. It would very difficult to find a rare 1916 Navy P-08 "Centerpiece" this original for anywhere near this price.......Shipped...$4975. SOLD |
