The left side of the slide and frame are proofed and marked with the full serial number that is repeated on the right side of the barrel hood. Safety detents are marked with an “S” in white and “F” in red. “P” release on front of trigger guard. Disassembly shows a matching, original hammer group with NO HALF COCK. Fitted with serrated walnut grips secured with fire blued screw. Fixed lanyard ring. Correct high polish magazine.
Synopsis:
Gorgeous, original, and all matching first variation Swiss Military P49. Early high polish production, original hammer group, and attractive plum frame!
Condition:
Excellent+ original salt blue, with holster wear as expected from a pistol that has seen minimal field use. No suggestion of touch-up. Comparable condition grips and magazine. Mirror bright bore. Perfect manual mechanics. An extremely attractive pistol with plum frame that would be extremely difficult to upgrade!
