Description:
Large Ring Flatside Mauser C96 broomhandle pistol, SN: 27241, cal. 7.63mm, with 5.5? barrel, fixed front sight, and slip-in 50-1000 rear tangent sight. Long extractor, single lug firing pin, LR hammer, early safety. Mauser address on top of chamber, full SN on left chamber flat. Proofing on left side of barrel extension; antler proof on right side. “VON LENGERKE & DETMOLD NEW-YORK” import mark, with haloed lettering, on the left side of frame. Matching serrated walnut grips. Original lanyard ring present. Disassembly shows all matching serial numbers.
Condition:
Crisp 98-99% original rust blue with minor sharp edge wear and a few scattered handling marks, mostly where stock lug inserts into the frame slot. Several of the small parts with light touch-up to include the front of the extractor, the cursor, and the back of the bolt. Near EXC grips with a few light handling marks, retaining the vast majority of their original varnish. Mirror bright bore with sharp rifling. Correct manual mechanics.
