Rast Gasser Model 1898, Caliber 8mm, Serial Number 73XX.
This is an amazingly clean example of very unusual and beautifully made Austro-Hungarian military pistol. The blue still intact would easily rate 96+%. This finish loss is restricted to slight muzzle wear, some pin pricks on the cylinder rod, and frame, and a small holster mark above the trigger on the right side. The grips straps have started to gray lightly. All parts match. The frame has two regimental marks and the Austrian Army acceptance proof on the top strap. The wooden grips like the rest of the gun show no wear. There are no splits, cracks or point flattening.
The bore is fine with good strong rifling and modest graying. The cylinder and chambers are excellent showing good care and little use. The condition of the gun makes the price outstanding..... $595.
