Description:
Wonderful, as new, Russian PSM "IZH-75" pistol, cal. 5.45x18mm, PSM (Pistolet Samozaryadny Malogabritny) made by Izhevsk Mechanical Plant, designed by the Tula Design Bureau in 1969, largely as a sidearm for Soviet army high command staff, KGB, and law enforcement agencies. The few examples in the United States having entered through diplomatic channels. The slide has a shallow serrated rib, fixed white highlighted front sight and a dovetailed square notch rear sight. Left side of the slide is marked with the model designation followed by the SN, which is repeated on the left side of the frame. The right side of the barrel hood is marked twice with the cal. designation "5.45x18" above Austrian proofs, followed by "PDM", with the Austrian proofs repeated on the right side of the slide above above the serrations. Single piece grooved and textured black synthetic grip. Limited disassembly shows an all matching gun, with the trigger guard / takedown lever and ejector matching via "03" in electro-pencil. Grip marked "203", etched on the interior of panel. Two matching magazines with full SN suffixed by -1, -2. Complete with original cleaning rod and factory matching cardboard box.
Condition:
CONDITION: Virtually new, with only a few nearly indiscernible handling / storage marks. Comparable condition magazines and cleaning rod. Mirror, chrome lined, bore. Excellent box with a few scuffs and scattered minor staining. A phenomenal pistol by any metric, this example virtually NIB, rarely offered for sale!
