WWII Nazi-Occupation Polish RADOM Vis 35 PISTOL
Description: WWII Nazi-Occupation Polish RADOM Vis 35 PISTOL One of the Best Sidearms of World War II Here we present an Nazi-Occupation Polish “Radom” Vis 35 Pistol, made circa 1943 at Fabryka Broni in Radom, Poland. The Radom is considered one of the best sidearms of World War II. It very much reminds one of a 1911 or a Browning High Power, and it shares many of the features in addition to some that are unique to the Radom. After the invasion of Poland by the Third Reich in 1939, production of these pistols was restarted, so that by 1945, the Radom was the third most prevalent sidearm in German service. The factory at Radom was also famous for its sly resistance efforts to the Nazis as they duplicated serial numbers on guns to deliver them to resistance fighters outside of the factory. The left side of the slide is marked “F.B. RADOM VIS MOD. 35. Pat. Nr. 15567.” Stick eagle “77” German waffenamts certify acceptance. The brown plastic grips read “FB” on the left and “VIS” on the right, “FB” for the name of the factory, and “VIS” for the name of the gun, meaning “power” in Latin. The overall condition is very good. The original blue finish is about 40%. The markings are clear and legible. The serial numbers match. The original grips are in great shape. The bore is sharp and bright. The action is excellent. Here is a fantastic example of one of the best pistols of World War II from occupied Poland! This firearm is classified as a Curio & Relic. Barrel is 4-3/4 inches. Caliber: 9mm Luger Overall condition as seen in photos. Very Fast. Very Safe. FREE SHIPPING. Will need to be sent to your local FFL or C&R licensee. This firearm is classified as a Curio & Relic. Guaranteed AUTHENTIC & Includes CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY. ancestryguns $1400 #5465 SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes |
