This 6.35mm caliber (25 ACP) Mauser Model 1910 pistol comes with a Japanese holster which has kanji characters on the inner lid. The pistol, which is known as the third variant new model, is circa 1930. It has standard markings for the era. The bore is very good and bright with evidence of firing. The gun has approx. 90% blue with edge and holster wear and a little edge roughness below the serial number. The checkered wood grips are very good with some dents on the left side. A lanyard loop has been added to the magazine release. The action functions correctly. the holster is fine with tight stitching and intact rivets and snaps. There is a pouch for a spare magazine. The 25ACP Mauser and Browning pistols were favorites of Japanese officers in the years leading up to WWII. These rigs are rarely seen today.
