"Japanese Showa 13.12 Nagoya Nambu-Kokubunji Factory Type 14 Pistol 8x22mm (L2026-06502)
Description:
"Serial no. 54064. Manufactured in December 1938 (Showa 13.12) at the Nagoya Arsenal Nambu-Kokubunji Factory, chambered in 8x22mm Nambu, 4.5"" round barrel. Bore shows light frosting in the grooves, while rifling remains strong and well defined. Serial numbers are matching. Grips and firing pin are unmarked. The finish has aged to an attractive grey patina, while factory markings remain sharp and clearly visible. Early pre-war Type 14 pistols are noted for their higher level of fit and finish compared to later wartime production examples. Action functions correctly.
