TYPE 14 NAMBU
Description:
The Type 14 Nambu was the primary service pistol of the imperial Japanese Army during WWII, designed in 1925 by famed weapons designer Kijiro Nambu. Named after the 14th year of emperor Taisho's reign it was a cost reduced evolution of earlier commercial Nambu patterns. Though it shares a superficial visual silhouette with the German luger, its internal mechanics are entirely different. They were Chambered for the anemic 8x22mm Nambu a unique and under powered bottleneck cartridge. This particular pistol is in very good condition and comes with one magazine. 8x22 Nambu
