The DWM manufactured 1906 Swiss military Luger pistol can be identified by the combination of the late toggle knobs, the Cross in Sunburst over the chamber, the lack of a serial number on the left side of the frame, serial number range frome 5001 to 15215, no barrel inscription, and Swiss military proofs. This gun fits these charceristics. The 4.75"" 7.65mm caliber (30 Luger) barrel has an excellent bore with bright, strong rifling. The chamber has the Cross in Sunburst over it and the toggle has the DWM logo. The frame and barrrel have the full serial number, 7589, and the expected small parts, including the grip panels, are correctly numbered to the gun. P57 is stamped just below the frame serial number. The barrel, frame, and receiver have the Swiss rewrok proof on them and the receiver has the rectangular inspection mark of a cross over V which is the receiver rework proof for Swiss inspector Herr Voiglesang. The gun retains approx. 99% rework blue and straw. The excellent correctly unnumbered wood base magazine has the desirable roung metal insertes in the base. The action functions correctly. You won;t find one nicer than this one!
