"Swedish Model 40 Lahti Pistol (PR57155)

"

The 9mm Swedish Model 40 Lahti pistol was designed by Almo Johannes Lahti of Finland. With some improvements by Husqvarna, it was adopted as the standard Swediah military sidearm in 1942. The left side of the slide is marked HUSQVARNA VAPENFABRIKS A.B. and each grip has the Swediah crown. The front of the frame is import-marked RIDGEFIELD N.J. The gun has approx. 97% blue. The 5.5"" barrel has an excellent bore with bright, strong rifling. The plastic grips are excellent. The 8-shot magazine is fine. The action functions properly. This great example of the Swedish Lahti pistol is ready for your Swedish or European military pistol collection.
