Gorgeous, early production Swiss Bern 1882 military revolver with holster.
Description:
Standard configuration Bern 1882 Swiss Military Revolver, caliber 7.5mm, with full SN "8885" on barrel, frame, and cylinder. Small parts matched to last few digits of SN or marked with assembly number "19475". A scattering of Swiss crosses. Correct hard rubber grips, rotatable lanyard ring. Complete with original military holster dated "07".
Condition:
Excellent, with bright original rust blue. Minimal sharp edge/holster wear as imaged. Comparable condition strawed parts, arguably enhanced, the fire blued small parts showing no suggestion of enhancement. Crisp grips with a few tiny areas of blunted checkering. All cylinders lock up tightly. Mirror bore with light etching. VG+ holster with darkened leather, elongated stud hole, dated 07, intact original stitching. An excellent example of an early, classic, Swiss Military revolver, even better as it has an original holster!
