Finnish VKT L-35 Lahti semi automatic pistol with military holster and accessories.

Description:

Extremely scarce, commercial wartime pistol whose configuration corresponds to the military series of guns that were serialed from 3700 - 5800, largely delivered in early 1944. Another group of later assembled pistols, numbered 5800 - 6800, were completed by 1945. Along with these military pistols were a few hundred guns with a "V" prefix and no SA-markings made from rejected parts and sold to the civilian market. This is one of those super rare examples!

As true for the military pistols, it has a 4.7" barrel whose barrel band has a serrated ramp. Dovetailed front sight and fixed rear sight. Rectangular loaded indicator. Top of slide with the usual logoed "VKT/L-35". Full serial number on left side of barrel extension, frame, and bolt. Electropenciled "E" on takedown lever and trigger. Chocolate brown plastic grips molded with VKT logo within a field of reversed checkering. Correct magazine with blued base and in-the-white body. Complete with military holster rig that includes a brown "SA" marked holster, a military "SA" marked Finnish Lahti magazine, takedown tool, and an original "SA" marked cleaning rod.

Condition:

Approximately 85% original finish with most of the wear related to the thinning of the grip straps. Excellent grips with no cracks or chips. Mirror bright bore. Perfect manual mechanics. VG+ holster with scuffs and flaking on lid as photographed. Excellent, spare magazine, takedown tool, and military marked cleaning rod. A super rare, wartime commercial rig well-suited for the most advanced Finnish Lahti collection!
