FN Model 1910 .32 ACP Pocket Pistol FABRIQUE NATIONALE 7.65x17mm C&R Belgian Belgium Made; Designed by John Browning
Description: FN Model 1910 .32 ACP Pocket Pistol FABRIQUE NATIONALE 7.65x17mm C&R Belgian Belgium Made; Designed by John Browning Here we present a Fabrique Nationale Model 1910, made circa 1914. The FN Model 1910 is a blowback-operated, semi-automatic pistol designed by John Browning and manufactured by FN of Belgium. The Model 1910, also known as the Browning model 1910, was a departure for Browning. Before this, his designs were produced by both Fabrique Nationale in Europe and Colt Firearms in the United States. During this era, Colt and FN had an agreement not to infringe on each other’s territory, Colt chose not to produce it. So, Browning chose to patent and produce this design in Europe only. Historically speaking, an FN Model 1910 in .380 ACP, was the handgun used by Gavrilo Princip to assassinate Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria in Sarajevo on June 28, 1914, the act that precipitated the First World War. These would go on to be used in the subsequent World Wars as issued as sidearms for military and police. The over condition is fine. Original blue finish. The action is strong. The bore is bright with nice rifling. The grips are checkered and monogramed horn. Both grips are solid, though the right grip is a bit rougher. This is a very well-made pistol that will slip right in a pocket! This firearm is classified as a Curio & Relic. Barrel is 3-1/2 inches. Caliber: .32 ACP (7.65x17mm) Overall condition as seen in photos. Very Fast. Very Safe. FREE SHIPPING. Will need to be sent to your local FFL or C&R licensee. This firearm is classified as a Curio & Relic. Guaranteed AUTHENTIC & Includes CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY. ancestryguns $1095 #201396 SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes |
