Description:
Late production Swiss military 1929 Luger, SN 66812, made 5.43 (May, 1943), WWII era, whose standard features include 4.75ā barrel with drift adjustable front sight and fixed āUā rear sight. Full matching serial number on barrel, left rail, and rear toggle link with last three digits repeated on sideplate and bottom of barrel extension. All small parts with usual inspector markings. W/F logo on back of frame. Uniformly checkered dark chocolate brown/black grips and dark brown magazine plug. Complete with original military holster/strap dated "1942" and spare magazine with matching colored plug.
Condition:
EXC factory blue showing the light sharp edge wear that one would expect from a carried pistol. Bright bore with minimal etching. Perfect manual mechanics with both magazines. One of the more desirable of the 1929 Bern pistols, manufactured in the middle of WWII. Especially nice with the closely dated military holster/strap and a spare magazine!
