Attractive Swedish Military Husqvarna m/1907 original finish pistol with Unit marking, matching except grips, caliber 9mm Browning Long, with lanyard cord, twin tube oiler, and correct leather holster.
Description:
Standard configuration Swedish military Pistol m/1907, manufactured by Husqvarna under license from FN and based upon John Browning’s Model 1903 design. This blowback pistol with matte finish, caliber 9mm Browning Long, has a fixed barrel, a fixed shark's fin front sight, a drift adjustable rear sight, grip safety, manual safety and a lanyard ring. The left side of the slide is marked with a single line address: “HUSQVARNA VAPENFABRIKS AKTIEBOLAG”, the unit marking “T2 No 2211”, identifying issue to Göta Logistic Regiment, on the adjacent frame. “9mm BROWN. L.” is visible on the barrel hood. SN: "47921" is on the right side of the frame. "Crown / GB" inspection on rear of frame. Tiny German Eagle/N proofs on barrel hood, right side of slide and frame, applied upon deaccession to Germany before shipment to the US. Black hard rubber grips have the crowned Swedish monogram above a checkered field. Disassembly shows a matching barrel and slide. Grips with mismatched left panel. Correct unmarked magazine, body slotted on the right side. Khaki cloth lanyard, chained twin-compartment oil bottle, and brown leather m/1907-pattern military holster with dual magazine pouches. No spare magazines.
Condition:
VG-EXC original matte finish with sharp edge wear and rare small spots of oxidative flecking, most noticeable on the left side of the slide. The front sight was altered from a half-moon profile to a shark's fin upon deaccession as common to most surplussed pistols. Comparable condition grips and magazine. Mirror bore. Correct manual mechanics. G-VG lanyard cord and holster with discoloration and intact stitching.
