Late-1940s FRENCH Sagem Model 1935S Pistol
Description: Late-1940s FRENCH Sagem Model 1935S Pistol With Leather Holster Here we present a Sagem Model 1935S Pistol, made circa the late-1940s by the Societe d’Applications Generales d’Electricite et de la Mecanique. There were two versions of this French military pistol, the 1935A and this, the 1935S. Both were designed to compete in the 1935-37 French military trials conducted by the Commission d’Experiences Techniques de Versailles to select a new sidearm. While similar in concept and design due to the specific requirements of the trials committee, they share no parts in common. The Model 1935S lost out but was put into production shortly thereafter due to the inability of the manufacturer to produce the 1935A quickly enough. These were used through the early-1950s. The left side of the frame is marked “SAGEM”. The right side is marked “MODELE 1935 S/CAL. 7.65 L/SAGEM A0.554”. The bottom of the magazine is marked “1935S”. Comes with a brown leather holster that is in good shape. The overall condition is fine. The blue finish is near complete as it has been nicely refinished. The markings are clear and legible. The grips are very good. The bore is clear and bright. The action on this pistol is excellent. This firearm is classified as a Curio & Relic. Barrel is 4-1/4 inches. Caliber: 7.65mm Longue Overall condition as seen in photos. Very Fast. Very Safe. FREE SHIPPING. Will need to be sent to your local FFL or C&R licensee. This firearm is classified as a Curio & Relic. Guaranteed AUTHENTIC & Includes CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY. ancestryguns $750 #6129 SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes |
