Description:
Wartime Soviet TT-33 Tokarev pistol with distinctive removable hammer-sear mechanism assembly and no external safety as standard for military configuration, relying on half-cock notch for carry safety. SN: MB3749, dated 1944. Standard military configuration semi-automatic pistol chambered in 7.62x25mm Tokarev cartridge with fixed front sight and drift adjustable rear sight. Top of slide marked with serial number, Izhevsk Arsenal marking, and production year "1944". Left side of frame with matching serial number and same markings as the top. Disassembly shows a matching hammer group and barrel. Wartime production features with the rougher machining and finish typical of late-war Soviet manufacturing when production was prioritized over cosmetic quality. Fitted with coarsely checkered wooden grips, commonly used during late war production. Complete with two correct type but mismatched magazines, both with arsenal acceptances, and late form postwar holster with spare magazine pouch and externally secured cleaning rod.
Condition:
VG original salt blue finish, slide with nice temper line, with holster wear and freckling as consistent with a pistol used under combat conditions.
