Description:

Standard configuration SIG P49 late military pistol, single action, in 9mmP, with 4.75" barrel and drift adjustable front and rear sight. The left side of the slide and frame are proofed and marked with the full serial number that is repeated on the right side of the barrel hood. Safety detentes are marked with an "S" in white and "F" in red. "P" release marked on left side of trigger guard and discreetly applied import marking on base of frame where covered by the magazine floorplate. Disassembly shows a matching hammer group with the usual half cock. Fitted with checkered black plastic grips, integral escutcheons, secured with a single transverse screw. Fixed lanyard ring. Complete with two magazines; one correct matte finish, the other an earlier reblued high polish magazine. Original holster with battle ready stud, manufacturer marked and dated "58” on obverse surface, with military strap dated “76”.

VG+ original finish with sharp edge wear and scuffs as photographed. Comparable condition grips and matte finish magazine. Spare reblued magazine in similar condition. Bright bore with sharp rifling. Perfect manual mechanics. Holster and strap VG+ stitching showing no repair. A very attractive and representative rig with an all matching pistol.
