Safety detentes are marked with an “S” in white and “F” in red. “P” release marked on the left side of the frame, and discretely applied import marking on base of frame. Disassembly shows a matching hammer assembly with the usual half cock. Fitted with checkered black plastic grips, separate escutcheons, secured with a single transfer screw. Fixed lanyard ring. Complete with original high polish magazine. Leather military holster, dated “67” and strap dated “65” with ownership markings inside lid. Synopsis: Near excellent, all original, SIG P49, transitional variation, with checkered slide release, blued slide and matte finished frame as correct for guns in this serial range.
