Left side of slide blank, with frame bearing the highly sought-after "Eagle F" acceptance stamp of the Third Reich Order Police (Ordnungspolizei), indicating police contract production. Right side slide marked with serial number, suffix by AC code. Eagle/N proofing on the exposed barrel boss, and right side of slide. Frame showing matching serial number. Original black checkered plastic grips with Walther logo, which are correct for late-war production. Includes two original magazines - one with a flat base and the other with a finger extension. These late-war police contract Walthers are considered among the most collectible variants of the PP series due to their historical significance and extreme rarity.
Condition:
VG/EXC with darker than usually hue, but sharp planes and prominent mill markings, as one would expect from a crudely finished pistol of this era. Comparable condition grips with superficial handling marks. Excellent primary magazine. Magazine with finger extension about good, most of the blue from the magazine body having been polished/filed off. Bright bore with sharp rifling. Perfect manual mechanics. One of the scarcer WWII military/police pistols that should appeal to every serious Walther or WWII collector!
