Colt 1911 .45 WW1 era with letter

Description:
A beautiful original Colt 1911 that shipped in January 1918. This gun was shipped to the Greenville Piers for the AEF and most likely made it overseas to France. This has retained almost all of its original finish, with the left side beginning to patina slightly. It will be hard to find a better Colt 1911 that shipped to France. Comes with a Colt Archive Letter and original two-tone 7 round magazine.
