Here's a WW1 Colt 1911 serial # 83939 . Shipped in 1914 . This is one of 500 contract shipped to the U.S.M.C. Company in 1914 . The condition of this gun indicates it went to a high ranking officer. Looks like it spent all of its time in the holster ! Thank God for that holster ! Gun is in excellent plus original condition ! 100 % original and all correct parts . Gun has most all of its original finish still remaining . With some holster wear . Bore and mechanics are in Excellent Plus Condition ! Gun locks up as tight as a drum . Original Wood grips are in excellent plus condition . Gun comes with a period correct original holster dated 1915 . Rare swivel holster in excellent condition ! U.S. Property issue . And belt marked U.S.M.C. . Here's a opportunity to own a High Condition Documented U.S.M.C. Issued early WW1 Colt 1911 with its original Holster ! Stunning Text Book Example !
