Excellent Colt 1911 1911A1 .45ACP Pistol Made In 1943 Matching s/n Slide 90% Original Finish - Excellent!

Description:
For sale is an excellent Colt M1911A1 pistol made in mid-1943. Serial number 1130667. This gun is in excellent condition and retains 90% or better of its original finish. Slide has matching serial number under the firing pin stop. There is very little edge and holster wear. The only demerit to this gun is that there is some finish loss on the grip safety and front grip strap. Overall, this gun is very  clean.  Early small GHD cartouche, ordnance wheel, and Colt roll stamp markings are clearly stamped through the finish. Barrel is marked Colt 45 Auto on the left side above the lug and small F on the bottom in front of the lug. Wear marks on the barrel breech match wear marks on slide face which indicates this barrel is original to the gun. Barrel is excellent retaining most of the original factory blued finish. Bore is bright and clean. Feedramp is in the white. Grips are excellent late Coltwood type with wide reinforcing rings and reinforcing ribs with mold numbers. Grip screw bushings are in the white which is another indicator that this gun has never been refinished. Frame under the grips is very clean. Comes with a very nice S/CS blued Colt magazine. This gun is super nice and would be an excellent addition to any collection. Price is $4250 plus $50 shipping and insurance. Offered with three-day inspection.
