This."Headquarters Rack Queen" has retained, at the worst case 99.5%of the original finish.
This original finish is a dull grey black Du Lite bluing over a sand blasted finish, as described in U.S. Pstols & Revolvers 1909-1945
by J. C. Harrison. The the littlel loss there is due to 4 very tiny surface scrates each side of the sliide and 3 tiny surface nicks on the top edge of the slide 2 on the bottom of the frame.
None of the slight scratches went thru the DuLite finisht tyically from a pistol rack
The wooden checkered grips are fine, with the eexception of the left which has the or four tiny flattened diamonds.
The feed ramp, bolt face show no use.
The barrel is a proper High Standard and is factory new.
Laser bright with razor sharp rifling without a whisp of frost anywhere.
