Outstanding Remington Rand M1911 1911 1911A1 .45ACP Pistol - Original Barrel and Original Finish – Mint Condition!
Description: For sale is an outstanding Remington Rand M1911A1 made in early 1944. Serial number 1334525. This gun is near-new. This pistol has a ton of original, gray-green parkerized finish, call it 99%. FJA cartouche and ord wheel are clearly stamped through the finish. There is no visible edge wear. Barrel is marked P on the left lug and HS on the right lug. Barrel is excellent retaining at least 90% of the original factory blued finish. Wear marks on the breech face and barrel breech match marks inside the slide and frame indicating this is the original barrel. Bore is clear with clear, sharp rifling and no pitting or visible defects. Feedramp and grip screw bushings are in the white which further indicates that this gun has never been refinished. Grips are excellent Keyes Fiber with reinforcing ribs, Keyes star, and mold numbers. Comes with a very nice S marked Scoville magazine. This gun is as nice as they come. It would be an excellent addition to any collection. Price is $3350 plus $75 shipping and insurance. Offered with three day inspection (from date of receipt) non-firing return policy.
