Remington Rand M 1911 A1

Description:
Remington Rand 1911 Pistol Serial #930961 MFG 1943. Refurbished by the Anniston Alabama Depot  on 11 of 1975. As noted on the right side of the frame, by the trigger guard with standard U.S. property and M1911A1 U.S Army markings.  The left side of the frame has inspection marks F.J.A (Frank J. Atwood Col) just under the take down lever. On the left side of slide is Remington Rand Inc on upper part of it and on the lower side of slide has Syracuse N.Y. U.S.A. “P” proof marks are found on the top of the slide, left side of frame, and left side of the barrel lug. The barrel was manufactured by H.S.( High Standard). All major components appear to be original to the pistol. The grips are new replacements from the 1975 refurbishing. The pistol is in excellent service grade condition.
