Italian Reproduction 1848 Colt Dragoon .44 Cal Single Action Revolver.
Rare hard to find very nice quality revolver in like new condition. FIE Italy stamped on the bottom of back-strap. These were some quality revolvers produced by Italian gunmakers like Uberti, Cimarron, Taylors etc and distributed in the United States.

• This firearm is a single-action, black powder revolver with a brass frame and a 7-½" steel octagonal barrel. The barrel only marked: BLACK POWDER ONLY

For is a single action black powder cased revolver.  Very clean, like new  condition, Does not  appear to be fired.  Mechanically works as it should in half and full-cock position with a strong hammer spring. Bore is shiny showing no use. Very nice Bluing on the barrel and cylinder. With factory engraving on both. Very strong beautiful case hardened colors on the plunger, trigger and hammer. Only markings are "Black Powder Only" on the underside of the barrel. Makes for a very attractive gun. 
The revolver has a very nice engraved brass receiver, trigger guard and back-strap. 
The cylinder is engraved with a naval battle scene.

Walnut grips are in excellent condition with just some minor handling marks. 

Also Included: Breen felt lined locking case in nice condition with  glass top, Revolver, powder flask,  powder measure,  1  percussion cap tin. .44 ammo,  lubricated patches
