This firearm is a single-action, black powder revolver with a steel frame and a 8" steel octagon barrel. Brass trigger guard
Top of barrel is marked: NAVY ARMS CO. INC. BOGOTA NJ USA
Serial Number: 1953

For is a single action black powder cased revolver! Very clean, good condition, Mechanically works as it should in half and full-cock position with strong timing and lock-up. 8 " barrel with an excellent bore. Hammer and trigger show beautiful case hardened colors. The metal suface retain about 98% original blue with just some slight thinning on the cylinder . Trigger guard is in brass with a steel back strap. The walnut grips rate in excellent condition. Only markings are on the barrel top with company name and maker marks on the receiver. Not the typical "For Black powder use only ” makes for a very attractive piece.
Also Included: Maroon velvet cloth lined presentation case in nice condition. , Revolver, powder flask with measuring tube, 1 percussion cap tin with some caps, 1 percussion cap tin with barrel grease, Bullet mold , nipple wrench and some .44 cal ammo
