Early Type 14 Nambu Rig - 1931 Mfg
Description: This is a nice, honest example of an early Type 14 Nambu rig that was made in July of 1931. It's an early Nagoya example with matching numbers, including one of the magazines. Nearly all of the wear and oxidation is on the left side of the gun, best guess is a tiny bit of moisture got in the holster as the rest of the gun looks very nice. Period original but replaced grips. Right panel has some Kanij carved into it but not sure the meaning. Bore is shiny with good rifling but some freckling and frost throughout. Rig has a spare magazine which is a later blued example. Comes with an original leather holster but the holster does have a couple of impact holes in it - they look like bullet holes, but we cannot say for sure. Includes spare firing pin.
