Japanese Type 14 Small Trigger Guard Nambu pistol manufactured by Nagoya Kokubunji in November 1936, chambered in 8mm Nambu, SN: 23370. This early, prewar pistol dated "11.11" with rust blued/strawed parts and a nickeled magazine has matching numbers on all parts except the grips that are pencil-numbered "381".
Condition:
EXC+ bright original rust blue with minimal sharp edge wear, usual holster contact/band across the lower portion of trigger guard, negligible thinning/freckling of the front/back strap. Small parts retaining the vast majority of their straw. Oil darkened grips with a scattering of light handling marks. Faded grip screws. EXC+ magazine with minimal insertional wear. Mirror bore. Correct manual mechanics. A gorgeous Nagoya Nambu whose only "fault" relates to the pencil-numbered mismatched grips.
