Nambu ~ Type 14 ~ 8x22 MM Nambu
Description: Nambu Type 14 chambered in 8x22 Nambu with a 4.5" barrel. This example is a Showa 20.5 (May 1945) product of the Nagoya Arsenal, Toriimatsu factory. The right ride of the slide is marked with the Nagoya Arsenal symbol, then the katakana phonetic symbol, "it looks like a square in a circle". This mark is for the second series. Its has "slab" grips, with no horizontal grooves. The bolt, firing pin, barrel lug, locking block, trigger, magazine catch, trigger guard and cocking knob are each marked "872". The inside of each grip panel is stamped "0872". The magazine spine is marked "872" and with a Japanese character at the bottom. . Comes with rubberized canvas holster "JMCH IX or JMCH X" and cleaning rod. The holster has dried and turned hard. 8mm SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes Chambers: Semi auto. Metal Condition: The pistol retains about 50% of its metal finish with expected operational wear consistent with its age. The surfaces show rough finish consistent with late-war production.
