WWII Imperial JAPANESE c&r Type 94 OFFICERS Pistol
Description: WWII Imperial JAPANESE c&r Type 94 OFFICERS Pistol World War II Dated “November 1941” Service Pistol Here we present an Imperial Japanese Nagoya Type 94 Service Pistol, made in November of 1941, the month prior to the attack on Pearl Harbor, at the Nambu Rifle Manufacturing Co. in Tokyo. These were made specifically for the Imperial Japanese Army and designed by none other than the famous Japanese designer Kijiro Nambu. They were chambered in the 8x22mm Nambu, with 6 round magazines. To say that it is unique is an understatement. It is in fact known for its less than handsome looks, and most of all, its ability to fire by pressing the transfer bar on the side of the gun without having to press the trigger. However, it was a successful pistol for the Japanese fighting in the Pacific Theater and was made through the end of World War II. The markings on the left side of the pistol frame read “Type 94”. Those on the right side “16.11” indicate that this gun was made during November of the 19th year of the Japanese Showa calendar, 1941. Arsenal marks underneath indicate that this was made by the private firm Nambu Rifle Manufacturing Company and overseen by the government’s Nagoya Arsenal. The overall condition is very good. The original blue finish is 90%. The markings are clear and legible. The serial numbers match on all parts of the gun aside from the barrel, locking block, and magazine. The grips are in good shape with sharp checkering. The bore is sharp and shiny. The action is excellent. Here is a very unique WWII Japanese pistol! This firearm is classified as a Curio & Relic. Barrel is 3-3/4 inches. Caliber: 8mm Nambu Overall condition as seen in photos. Very Fast. Very Safe. FREE SHIPPING. Will need to be sent to your local FFL or C&R licensee. This firearm is classified as a Curio & Relic. Guaranteed AUTHENTIC & Includes CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY. ancestryguns $1000 #5242 SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes |
