What a GEM!
Chinese made SKS with famous JUNGLE STOCK
Very neat that it comes with a blade bayonet
not numbers matching, is import marked
Origin: Made in China, imported mainly during the 1980s–90s.
Caliber: 7.62×39mm.
Action: Semi-auto, tilting-bolt system.
Magazine: Fixed 10-round internal (stripper clip loading), some converted to detachable mags.
Import Marks: Usually stamped “Norinco" with importer info.
The “Jungle Stock" (Fiberglass)
Material: Factory Chinese fiberglass/composite stock.
Color: While most were olive-drab green, there are also reddish-brown or maroon-toned versions that came out of Chinese factories. Collectors sometimes call these “red jungle stocks."
Reason for Use: Like the green version, the fiberglass stock was intended to be resistant to moisture, swelling, and warping in humid environments.
Hardware: Retains the standard SKS buttplate, sling swivels, and sometimes comes with a matching reddish fiberglass upper handguard.
