P 38 ~ Spreewerke (CYQ) ~ A Prefix ~ 9mm ~ 1943 Production

Description:
This is a great example of the Spreewerke P38 without a COG hammer. The left side of the slide is marked "P.38", "cyq" and "8860 a". The left side of the frame is marked "8860 a" and an "Eagle / 88" Waffenamt. The left barrel flat is marked with an "Eagle / 88". The front barrel flat is marked "8860 / a". The right barrel flat is marked "B 20". The bottom of the locking block is marked "860 / a", the right side is marked with an "Eagle / 88" and the left side is marked with an Eagle Swastika. The right side of the slide is marked with two "Eagle / 88" Waffenamts, with an Eagle Swastika in the center. The front sight is a dovetailed blade marked "+" on the left. The rear sight is a "U"-notch dovetailed to the rear of the slide. The grips are "AEG" with the top circles on both marked "38 / Z3" and both bottom circles marked "p / 1528". The bottom circle on the left grip is also marked with a "1" and a "6" on the right. The 8 round magazine is marked "P 38 on the left side. 9mm Parabellum

Chambers: Semi auto.
Metal Condition: Great surplus condition with minimal wear.
Wood Condition: The bakelite grips are in great condition with a few very minor scuffs on the right grip panel.
Bore Condition: Bright bore with deep lands and grooves. No pitting or corrosion.
Triggers: SA/DA.
