This is a near-mint example of a rare Walther Mod P.38 sold in the commercial market during WW2. This one is all matching and has the proper "Eagle N" proofs. This gun is rare as only 1,800 were produced. It has retained about 98% of its slightly plumb-colored finish (especially on the frame). There is a hint of thinning on the front strap, hints of wear at the very front edges of the slide, and a few very light scratches on the right side of the slide. Comes with excellent reddish period-correct bakelite grips and a proper un-marked magazine. The bore is stone-mint. De-cocker is functional.
