A very attractive, all-matching, and original finish Spreewerk P38 from World War II with near mirror bore and correct manual mechanics.
Description:
Standard configuration Spreewerk P38 with drift adjustable front sight mounted over 5” barrel. Fixed rear sight. Left side of slide referencing model, manufacturer code "cvq" (cyq with broken die), and SN, the matching SN repeated under the barrel, left side of frame and last 3 digits on the locking block. Safety with standard S/F detents. Usual inspection/test proofs on right side of frame. Fitted with coarsely serrated hammer, dark brown grips, and correct magazine marked "P38" near bottom of left side.
Condition:
VG+ original finish with light sharp edge in usual places, thinning of frontstrap. Locking block correctly blued except on frictional surface, associated pin in the white. Two inspection proofs on the right side of the slide having broken through the finish. Comparable condition grips and magazine. EXC bore with sharp rifling. Correct manual mechanics. A very nice, matching, and all-original finish Spreewerk P38 from World War II!
