Spencer pair percussion belt pistols, .750-inch bore diameter, safeties, cased, layaway
Description: Spencer pair percussion belt pistols. Made in England circa 1845, they wear 5.2-inch octagon barrels (1.02 inches across the flats, .750-inch bores, sights). Features include hammer safties, belt clips, checkered walnut grips and trapdoor grip caps. Finishes are brown, color case and niter blue. Individual weight is 1.8 pounds. CONDITION: Bores are quite strong with but hints of frosting and some superficial browning. Mechanics are solid. Barrels show approximately 70 percent with spots of tarnish. Colors are muted with general tarnish. Niter is approximately 50 percent. Grips are solid. CASE: The walnut case (no label) includes a bullet mold and other accessories.
