An incredibly unique 1911 of Canadian make, the 16.40 LDA was produced by Para-Ordnance between 1997 and 2002, with features way ahead of its time when compared to the 2011 pistol trend in recent years. As its name implies, the 16.40 has a double-stack capacity of 16+1 rounds, and is chambered in .40 S&W intead of the traditional caliber of .45 ACP, giving it a slimmer profile with its double-stack magazine while not sacrificing stopping power. The most unique feature of the 16.40 LDA is its trigger, which is a "half-pull" double-action trigger design, meaning it is double-action only, but its pull distance is that of a single-action trigger. The pistol is in good condition overall, with some slight scratching and discoloration to the frame, while the bore and action are in perfect shape.
