Radom ~ Model 35 ~ None
Description: This Polish Radom Model 35 is in overall good condition with moderate wear and handle marks. Also known as the Vis 35, this semi-automatic pistol has a notable place in the history of firearms. The Radom Model 35 was developed in the early 1930s by the Polish State Rifle Factory in Radom, Poland, hence the name. Production began in 1935 at the Radom factory and continued until the onset of World War II. The factory produced approximately 49,400 pistols before the German invasion of Poland in 1939. After the invasion, the Germans took over the Radom factory and continued production of the Vis 35. They marked these pistols with German military acceptance stamps, and they were used by German paratroopers and other units. Production continued under German occupation until about 1944. The Vis 35 remains a highly regarded collector's item due to its historical significance and craftsmanship. Original pre-war and wartime models are particularly prized.
