Description:
Standard configuration Remington Derringer Model 4, 3rd Variant, cal. .41RF, also known as a model 95 Double Derringer, manual ejection, made in 1935. This all blued example, takedown lever and screws a peacock blue, has the manufacturer address " REMINGTON ARMS -- U.M.C.CO ILION N.Y." on the top rib. SN: "L76120” on lower barrel, only visible upon opening the action. Finely checkered hard rubber grips with thin border.
Condition:
EXC original finish with a few handling marks but little evidence of actual use as there are no cartridge head imprints on the recoil shield, the release lever retains the vast majority of its original heat blue, and grips with only slightly blunted checking, the right panel with a barely discernible, carefully glued crack. Mirror bores with sharp rifling. Correct manual mechanics.
